Indra is an international Italian alternative-pop duo known for their cinematic and emotionally driven sound, blending dark pop aesthetics with tribal rhythms, electronic textures, and atmospheric production. Their music exists at the intersection of dreamlike storytelling and ritualistic intensity, exploring human fragility through a distinctive visual and sonic identity.

The project is formed by Indra (singer, songwriter, pianist) and Ømar  (drummer, multi-instrumentalist), who also work together as producers and sound engineers. Fully self-directed, they oversee every stage of the creative process, from composition and production to sound design and visual development, building a cohesive and immersive artistic universe.

Indra have performed across major Italian and international venues, including Magazzini Generali, Viper Theatre, The Cage, Druso, and Blah Blah, establishing themselves as a rising act within the European alternative scene.

Their live activity has extended beyond Italy, with appearances at Taubertal Open Air Festival in Germany (opening for Edwin Rosen), Hit Week Festival in the United States alongside Cosmo and Diodato, and Batch Festival in the Czech Republic. In 2026, they were selected among more than 1,600 projects as semifinalists in the MadCool Talent competition in Madrid.

Their debut concept album The Witch (2023) introduced their signature sound and visual universe. The project gained further recognition through the single “The Witch”, featured in the cult American podcast Welcome to Night Vale.

The album unfolds as a cinematic narrative through vulnerability, transformation, and enchantment, combining alternative-pop songwriting with ritualistic and atmospheric production.

Alongside their music, Indra have developed a strong audiovisual practice, producing self-directed music videos including The Witch, Killing Machine, and Another Spell, all available on YouTube.

Their artistic language also extends into multidisciplinary collaborations. In 2024, they composed and produced the original soundtrack for Oracle, the fragrance by Extra Virgo, created in collaboration with Heavy Soul Studio. The project premiered at Pitti Fragranze in Florence and was later broadcast on Fashion TV.

Currently, INDRA are working on a new body of work that marks a refined and more immediate sonic direction. Emerging from the convergence of two distinct creative perspectives, the upcoming release introduces a more stripped-back and contemporary sound while maintaining the cinematic and atmospheric identity that defines the project.
